| About | This research-based training covers the 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
It provides a comprehensive, approach to the basics of early infant feeding issues in the hospital, clinic and community.
The course provides staff with commonsense, realistic approaches to the challenges of a busy
healthcare system.
The day of competencies is designed to complement the two-day program by providing participants opportunities to review many of the necessary skills when helping families with
questions and different situations about breastfeeding.
This course meets the 20-hour minimum training for the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.
