Learn to discuss key breastfeeding issues during pregnancy and navigate conversations about milk supply, cesarean birth, and NICU stays. We'll equip you with specific phrases to empower mothers and their support network, including partners and family members. Gain practical one-liners to support vulnerable new moms experiencing pain or challenges, fostering a positive breastfeeding experience through effective communication.

Describe interactions that may undermine a new parent's confidence around chestfeeding.
Discuss the effects of our culture's sexualisation of the female breast on confidence around breastfeeding.
Name specific bodyfeeding issues to discuss with families during pregnancy.
Identify helpful phrases to use when a parent is concerned about their milk supply.
Identify helpful language to use with parents during and after caesarean birth.
Discuss the importance of counselling partners, grandmas, and other support people to aid the breastfeeding journey.
