Talking to Pregnant People about Feeding their Babies: Bodyfeeding Promotion

Price: $50

This 3-hour course tackles communication challenges in supporting bodyfeeding families. We'll explore how national and international organizations prioritize lactation, and how personalized approaches can hinder effective communication. We'll discuss how power dynamics and a culture that sexualizes breasts can be barriers to lactation support. The course equips you with teaching points for prenatal education and emphasizes the influence healthcare providers have on a parent's feeding choices through their words and actions.

Important Update Regarding CERPs Eligibility
Due to upcoming changes in IBLCE guidelines, this course will no longer offer CERPs starting in 2026. The full course
Foundations for Best Practice in Lactation Care will continue to qualify for CERPs; however, its individual modules will no longer be eligible for CERPs when taken separately.

Please note: This course will still count toward IBCLC certification requirements and RN continuing education credits.
