The Influence of Growth and Development on Bodyfeeding: Birth to Twelve Months

Price: $40

This 2-hour course explores how a baby’s growth and development impact breastfeeding from birth to one year. It covers newborn reflexes that influence bodyfeeding, the effects of biologic immaturity on infant behavior and chestfeeding in the early months, and techniques to soothe and calm newborns for successful feeding. The course also examines the normal crying pattern of newborns and outlines developmental milestones from four to twelve months, discussing how these changes impact lactation.
This class explained why my baby acts the way they do! I was so confused why feeding was diff at 4 months, now it makes sense
Excellent breakdown of how infant development impacts chestfeeding. The discussion on biologic immaturity was particularly useful.
The section on normal crying patterns and their link to feeding behaviors was eye-opening. Great discussion points for working with new parents.
