Learn to differentiate between the two main types of mastitis: inflammatory and infectious, understanding their symptoms and treatment approaches. The course explores management of breast abscesses, galactoceles (milk cysts), and phlegmons (inflamed tissue). Finally, we'll discuss the signs and causes of candida infections (thrush) in both parents and infants, empowering you to support families through these breastfeeding hurdles.

Foundations for Best Practice in Lactation Care will continue to qualify for CERPs; however, its individual modules will no longer be eligible for CERPs when taken separately.
